Paul Harris
Director & Behavioural Consultant
Paul has worked extensively in the disability field for over 18 years. His interest has always centred on providing effective support services to individuals with a disability and their families in a manner that enhances each person's independence, social inclusion and ability to make informed decisions.
Paul's early experience was a diverse mix of direct care and program design for adults with high to complex support needs. For the past 15 years, Paul has focused his energies on the provision of behaviour-based early intervention for children with autism and related disabilities using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). He has provided consultancy services both locally and internationally including the United Arab Emirates, New Zealand and USA.
In 2008 Paul founded Momentum Learning Services in an effort to provide affordable, behaviour-based intervention to families where a traditional 30-40hour a week ABA program was not possible in the hope that a greater number of children could experience the benefits of intervention.
Paul is also a well respected speaker who has presented at conferences at a local, national and international level to promote awareness of effective behavioural interventions for children with autism spectrum disorders. Paul also donates time to Autism Awareness to speak to remote and rural families through its awareness raising workshops.
