Momentum Learning Services is registered with the NDIS to provide supports in three key areas: Improved Daily Living, Improved Relationships, and Early Childhood Supports. These registration groups outline the types of services we are qualified to deliver and help participants understand how our supports align with their NDIS plan.
The tabs below explain what each category means and how you can check whether your NDIS plan includes funding for the services you’re seeking.Improved Daily Living includes assessments, therapy, and skill-building supports that help a participant increase their independence, communication, and everyday functioning. In our service, this often includes applied behaviour analysis (ABA), parent and carer coaching, and programs to build communication, social, emotional, and daily living skills.
If your plan lists Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living, you can usually use this funding for behaviour consultation, parent training, assessments, and ongoing support sessions.
Improved Relationships is designed for participants who need specialist behaviour support. These supports focus on understanding behaviours of concern, building safer and more effective ways to meet needs, and improving quality of life.
If your plan lists Capacity Building – Improved Relationships, you may use this funding for behaviour support assessments, development of Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), and ongoing specialist behaviour support services.
Early Childhood Supports apply to children under the age of nine who are accessing the Early Childhood Approach. These supports help children develop foundational skills through family-centred, play-based and evidence-based intervention.
If your child has Capacity Building – Early Childhood Supports in their plan, these funds can be used for early intervention programs, coaching for parents and carers, assessment, and program development.
