Working together
At Momentum Learning Services, we believe that meaningful progress happens when the important people in a participant’s life understand the support plan and feel confident using the strategies every day.
While our behaviour consultants provide assessment, planning, and coaching, it is parents and carers who create the consistent learning opportunities that help participants develop new skills and reduce behaviours of concern. This shared approach allows learning to continue long after the weekly session has finished and helps participants use their skills where they matter most—at home, school, and in the community. Your involvement ensures that learning doesn’t stop when the session ends. Here are a few reasons why parent and carer participation are so important:1
Participants learn best with familiar people in familiar places.
2
Consistent approaches across environments support stronger progress.
3
Strategies are matched to what matters most to the participant.
