ABA & the NDIS code of conduct

At Momentum Learning Services, our Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) approach is grounded in the NDIS Code of Conduct. This means all supports are delivered safely, ethically, and in a way that protects the rights and wellbeing of every participant. Below is a simple outline of how ABA practices match each principle of the Code.

Respect for rights, choice and control

We work with participants and their support networks to set meaningful goals. ABA programs are designed to increase independence, build skills and support each person’s preferred way of communicating, learning and engaging.

Protecting privacy and confidentiality

We collect only the information needed to provide safe and effective support. Personal details, data and reports are stored securely and shared only with informed consent.

Safe, skilled and competent practice

Our practitioners use validated assessments, ongoing data review and evidence-based strategies. Regular supervision and professional development keep our practice up to date and aligned with NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements.

Integrity, honesty and transparency

We explain all goals, strategies and expected outcomes in clear language. Participants and families always know what we are doing and why. We declare conflicts of interest and avoid situations that may compromise service quality.

Acting on concerns promptly

We monitor progress closely and address issues early. Any concerns about safety or support quality are escalated following NDIS reporting pathways.
